New Perspectives Psychological Services, Inc., is my private practice. My passion is helping adults with anxiety. I love what I do, and it shows!

I also work with adults with depression, grief and family relationship problems. In addition, I work with couples who experience intrusions into their relationship by other people and life transitions, and those that want to deepen their emotional connection.

Treatment Approach

There are many theories of psychological functioning and many treatment approaches. My work is best described as Integrationist. This means that I pull from multiple theories such as: Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused, Person-Centered and Family Systems Theories. I choose from among these options based on your existing strengths, your needs and your values. I believe that my role as a psychologist is to help you find your own way.

My way of being in the therapy room is warm, calm and easy going. If you meet with me you will soon realize that I take my job very seriously, but I don't take myself "too" seriously. I like a loose structure. In other words, there is enough structure to the session that we do not lose our way, but not so much that it feels impersonal and overly agenda-driven.
